A little about me!
My name’s Gage! I’m a videographer/video editor that would love to work in the entertainment industry!
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point with a major in Media Studies. I learned a lot of fundamentals there, but decided that I needed to suppliment my knowlege with more technical knowhow from Madison college. With a shiny new videography certificate under my belt, I’m feeling fully prepared for whatever the video world has for me!
As far as experience goes, I was a PA, grip, and 2nd AC for an indie film called “Omro”, I’ve filmed some fast-action highschool football with a company seasonally for two years, and I’ve worked as a photographer for a highschool yearbook company.
Over the past few years, I have found myself incredibly more confident in my skills and have honed in my knowlege to a greater level than ever before while working on my first big short film, “Rent’s Due”! I’ve had to refine my skills and expand my abilities through casting, scripting, story boarding, making shot lists, running table reads, location scouting, scheduling, lighting, directing, editing, color grading, composing music, recording ADR, marketing, and distributing (still working on those last two). This project has made me feel assured in my capabilities while showing me that I still have so much space to learn and grow!
Being relatively fresh in the field, I still bring other admirable qualities to set. I have been described as having an amazing work ethic; always arriving on set early and anticipating needs before they are even asked of me. On top of that, I also have an outstanding positive, friendly, and extroverted personality!
So… Lets make something amazing together! I would be honored to be a part of your upcoming project!
